Yums is a recipe storage system built on top of email. Content on the web disappears with time, but email you have control over forever.
To use Yums, find a recipe you like and send an email to save@yums.email
. In the body paste the link to the recipe you want to save. You can paste as many links as you like, separated by new lines.
to: save@yums.email from: me@example.com subject: This part doesn't matter ---- https://example.com/potato-soup/ https://example.com/amazing-brownies/ https://example.com/southwest-stuffed-peppers/
You'll get an email back from saved@yums.email
with the extracted recipe. Since it's email you can then do whatever you like. Organize them into folders by category; set up mail rules, etc.
Yums will only email you when you request to save a recipe. We will not store your email address or send you advertisements.
Yums is in beta and is currently free. Depending on cost it may remain so in the future, or might become a paid service. In any event, the recipes you save are yours forever; they are in your inbox after all.
